National Biomass Atlas of India Link The National Biomass Atlas based on ASCI’s Biomass evaluation report for MNRE published in 2021 provides state-wise and crop-wise information on agricultural biomass, including crop area, production, gross and surplus biomass availability, residue fractions, crop residue ratios, calorific values and bioenergy potential. It graphically presents biomass availability across India, supported by crop-specific information and images, national maps, offering an accessible overview of the country’s biomass resources.
Livestock Waste Energy Atlas of India Link The Livestock Atlas presents state-wise and livestock category-wise information based on the 2012 and 2019 Livestock Census data. It covers livestock population, manure availability potential, biogas potential, and the corresponding potential for Compressed Biogas (CBG) and power generation, providing an accessible overview of livestock-based bioenergy resources across India.
Crop wise state wise biomass and bioenergy potential Download The Punjab data file crop-wise information on agricultural biomass, including crop area, production, gross and surplus biomass availability, and bioenergy potential based on ASCI’s report.
Biomass characterisation data Download The file provides key characterization parameters of different biomass residues, including elemental composition (carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen contents), ash, moisture, volatile matter, and calorific value. It offers essential information on the physicochemical properties of biomass resources to support their assessment and potential utilization for bioenergy applications.
Crop Residue Ratios and Calorific Values Download Provides information on crop residues, their availability, and calorific values, helping users compare their quantity and energy potential for bioenergy applications.
Annual Report Link The Annual Reports provide an overview of the research, development, and other activities undertaken at NIBE during each year. They highlight key achievements, ongoing research work, major initiatives, and progress made, offering accessible insights into the Institute’s annual activities and research advancements.
