Dr. G. Sridhar, an alumnus of IISc, is an Innovative and result driven researcher and technologist with over 30 years of cumulative experience in the field of Bioenergy and Open Innovation topics. Having worked both for academic and industry, he has a flair for excellence and tries to bring the best out of the research teams.

His primary research interest is in developing technologies and solutions based on thermochemical conversion of biomass. Some areas include biomass cook stoves/combustors, gasification, torrefaction and producer gas fueled IC engines. He has over forty-five research publications including patents to his credit.

One of his achievements include being a recipient team member of the FICCI annual award for outstanding achievement in Science & Technology (2005).
